Personal Introduction:

My full name is Jarrod Edward Cain. I was born in Denver Colorado June 11th 1987. When I was nine years old my family moved to Naples Florida, were I am currently living now. Ever since I can remember I have had a love for “scenarios.” Like most boys growing up, I would construct massive battle scenarios with all of my toys ranging from teenage mutant ninja turtle action figures flying around in x-wings to Jurassic Park dinosaurs controlling relaying orders from batman’s base. I was completely obsessed with choreographing these scenarios perfectly down to the last minute detail. After discovering that my father had an old video camera stashed away in the closet, I began to film the scenarios. It was then that I realized that I was destined to be a film maker. And I have worked my entire life to achieving this goal.

Education:

- Graduated from Barron Collier High School in 2005 with a 4.7 GPA
- Attended one year at Saint Leo University in Dade City, FL.
- Currently enrolled at the University of Central Florida, majoring in Cinema Studies with a minor in History. My current GPA is 3.93. I have made the Dean’s list every semester that I’ve attended college.

Occupation:

I have worked at a reprographics company called Early Solutions since I was sixteen and still work with them over the summers.
During the summer of 07, I interned at a video production company from Fort Myers called Main Sail.

Talent:

Writing and directing is my most prominent talent. I have written numerous short stories and short scripts, and am in the process of finishing a feature length screenplay. I also have a love for poetry writing as well as sketching. I have made three short films and am currently working on my latest one. I am proficient with both Mac and PC editing and graphics software including photoshop, final cut studio, and pinnacle.

Objective:

I ultimately hope to become a film director or writer (or both) in the Hollywood industry. I am anxious, excited, and eager to make a name for myself in the industry, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve this goal. I am extremely hard working and extremely competitive.
